Learn MoreThe Library was started in the year 1996, and named as Prof. B. Sarveswara Rao Library in 2005 as a mark of respect to former President Gayatri Vidya Parishad, great Economist, Former Vice-Chancellor Nagarjuna University, Emertius Professor of Economics AU and Economic Advisor to Government of Nigeria. The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD / DVD -ROMs, Video Cassettes. Online Databases, Micro Documents, Video Cassettes, Books, Journals Thesis, Project Reports, Back Volume of Journals, Video Lessons from NPTEL. The library has been using an integrated library management software package Koha with all modules for automated library operation and Bar code system. A well equipped Digital Library is one of the most important sections of the Library. The library being a member of E- Shodh Sindhu, under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development provides online access to IEEE ASPP Online, ASME, ACSE, Science Direct and DOAJ Journals through DELNET.

An RO-processed water dispenser is available for safe and purified hydration. It delivers both cool and hot water to suit different needs and preferences. Students can enjoy clean drinking water throughout their study sessions. We prioritize health and convenience with reliable water access.

The Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system to classify its documents. Books are arranged on the stacks in the ascending order of Classification Numbers. The books are catalogued as per Anglo – American Cataloguing Rule (AACR2). The Books are arranged according to call numbers in the shelves Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available to the users.

The students who are admitted and the faculty/staff who join the college are entitled for membership. The UG students can borrow 3 books and PG students 4 books for a period of 2 weeks, while staff can borrow 8 books.
Through Sahakar Scheme students can earn by working in the library beyond college hours while studying, and around 50 students have been benefited under this scheme so far which includes UG and PG. Contact librarian to know more.
