The Academic Year 2013-14 augurs well for Gayatri Vidya Parishad when its 201 students got selected from its campuses GVP College of Engineering (Autonomous) and GVP College of Engineering for Women in all 494 students appeared from B.Tech., M.Tech. and M.C.A. by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) during its first campus recruitment drive during 1st and 2nd October, 2013.

Sri Rajanna, Vice-President and Regional Head, TCS in his pre-placement talk highlighted the importance of Customer Centric Services, Quality Consciousness, Leadership together with elegance in attitude and advised the students to inculcate these ideas by rigorous practice. In a three-hour interactive session with students on 30.9.2013 Rajanna answered several questions in various spheres raised by students of Gayatri Institutions.
Prof. Soma Raju, Secretary, Gayatri Vidya Parishad in his congratulatory message to the students exhorted that the brand Gayatrian should be maintained while we serve esteemed organizations like TCS paving the way to absorb more from their juniors in years to come.
The Principal Dr. A.B. Koteswara Rao congratulated the students, the Dean, Training & Placements Dr. P. Venkata Rao and his team for all the hard work they put in for getting good number of placements in these hard times.
