Professor Hoshiyar Singh Dhami, born on 15th August, 1954, is a distinguished mathematician.
He has his education from Uttarakhand and did his Doctorate degree from Kumaun University, Nainital.
Dr. Dhami started his academic career in 1978 as a faculty in HNB Garhwal University. He left Garhwal in 1981 and joined SSJ Campus, Kumaun University, Nainital.
Before joining as Vice Chancellor of Kumaun University. Prof. Dhami has worked as Head, Mathematics Department; Proctor; Dean Students'Welfare; Director of Almora Campus; Coordinator, IT Department; Controller Examination and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Kumaun University
Prof. Dhami is on the Editorial board and on Reviewer's panel of different national and international journals of Mathematics,
Computer Science and Information Technology. He has to his credit 147 Research publications in refereed and Impact factor Journals;
06 text books, several awards and 132 citations in various journals, books and websites. Out of his various publications, 14 papers have appeared
in Mathematical reviews and 04 in Zentrablatt MATH Database 1931-2013, European Mathematical Society, FIZ Karlsruhe & Springer-Verlag.
His 25 research papers have been cited by researchers across the globe.
